Afshan Anjum has 13+ years of versatile experience in Project and Client management in Medical Coding Operations.

She heads the Quality and Training department while playing a pivotal role in onboarding and stabilizing clients, planning and implementing numerous return on investment (ROI) audits that result in acquiring new business. She is responsible for running strategic initiatives related to recruitment, mentoring, career growth, and workforce retention with a focus on building a strong core team that aligns with organizational growth. Additionally, she oversees the training program to onboard the new joiners.

Prior to ScribeEMR, Afshan was part of the India leadership team at Omega Healthcare and LogixHealth, where she executed the transition and implementation of multi-specialty projects across locations, effective planning and utilization of resources to minimize cost and process reengineering. During her tenure, she also led workforce planning, recruitment, training, and retention initiatives.

Afshan earned a Master's degree in Science from Bangalore University and is a Certified Outpatient Coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders.
